Kamui Project

A collaboration with the electronica wizard Katsuhiro Uemura, leading to concerts "The Radiant Life", at the Cockpit Theatre and Turtle Key Arts Centre in London in 1996. The concert incorporated contemporary dance from dance company i-i with elaborate make-up & costume, and visuals projected onto a backdrop.

The short-lived project was named after the 3 main collaborators: KA for Katsuhiro Uemura, who later went on to join Mugenkyo himself, MU for Mugenkyo, and I for i-I dance group, and also has a double meaning, named after a Buddhist philosophy.
