The "Experience Taiko" weekend workshop at the Mugen Taiko Dojo is an immersive experience in the world of Taiko drumming, opening the door to this ancient art form. Learn Taiko in a supportive and friendly environment, guided by experienced instructors. The workshop is suitable for complete beginners and for those with limited experience. Taiko is uplifting, energising, helps develop coordination and internal rhythm, is fun & accessible for all ages, and a great stress-reliever.

Beginning with the fundamentals, the stance and the grip, progressing step-by-step over the course of the weekend, participants learn several short pieces composed of different traditional rhythms from around Japan, including the opportunity of learning a short rhythm on the big Odaiko drum.
